KCC Character Education Program

We strongly believe at Kid’s Community College that in order for children to reach their full potential it is imperative that they have a strong foundation that emphasizes character and values. In fact, research shows that by the time children are in 5th grade they already have established what they believe about values, behavior, and choices. To infuse character education into not only our curricula but also into our school culture we use the Core Essentials values education program. This program aims to change children’s inward attitudes into outward behaviors.

The first Friday of every month will be KCC Character Day. We will show our school character by wearing that month’s character color. At the end of each month each professor selects one student from their class that exemplifies the character trait of the month. This student will receive a special Cougar Cool Cat Award and an invitation to our Ice cream Sundae Celebration Party.
